The Holmsdale Hotel is a CHILD FREE ZONE. A select, quiet hotel privately owned and run and offering the guest quality accommodation in relaxing, informal surroundings with en-suite rooms and lift to all floors. It is Adults only here but we do accept young adults of 14 and over.

Just 50 metres away from the promenade and minutes from theatres, clubs, shops and train & bus stations, we are ideally situated. Every effort is made to make our guests stay as pleasurable as possible, with friendly personal service at all times and attention to every detail.

Rooms Description

Our guest accommodation comprises twin, double and single rooms but no family rooms -so the hotel cannot cater for children. Food is given top priority at the Holmsdale Hotel. Guests enjoy a wide choice of menus and appreciate the high quality of the house cuisine, with portions to suit all appetites. All our tables are set for two to allow you to dine in peace and privacy. Our guests Cocktail bar provides the opportunities to enjoy drinks before or after your meal. Comfortable smoking and non-smoking bedrooms, all individually designed and tastefully furnished are fully centrally heated and equipped with colour TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Both the TV lounge and sun lounge give guests the opportunity to relax, read the papers and meet new friends

Of course one of the pleasures of being on holiday is not having to cook each evening. So, having a delicious meal prepared for you is not only the perfect end to the day, it’s also a great start to your evening. In fact good food is really important to us. That is why we go overboard to make it a big part our of quests’ stay here at the Holmsdale Hotel. Maybe that’s why so many people tell us that dinner is the real highlight of their day when they stay with us at our hotel. Nothing too fancy mind, you won’t need a foreign phrase book for our menu. It’s English style but cooked to perfection. Home cooked roast meats, fish like a delicious poached Scottish salmon. Together with fresh vegetables and salads. Then there is a choice of sweets each evening that would tempt Rosemary Conley off a diet.
