"Self Catering Accommodation of the Year" Herons Well is a spacious "Five Star Gold" self catering holiday cottage offering luxury accommodation, suitable for both the business traveller and holiday maker. The cottage offers three en-suite bedrooms and can accommodate six guests in comfort. It is centrally located, being just a fifteen minute drive to Liverpool and a thirty minute drive to Chester. The holiday cottage has under floor heating, a comfortable lounge with wide screen TV, DVD player, wireless internet, and an inglenook fireplace with a log burning stove. Outside there is a private walled garden with large patio area, garden furniture and a BBQ, ideal for those al fresco meals. There is ample off road parking right beside the cottage with level entry.

Herons Well self-catering holiday cottage has several excellent beaches on its doorstep and West Kirby beach has been awarded a coveted blue flag status. From here you can look across to North Wales, walk out to Hilbre Island and catch sight of the basking seals and even do a spot of bird watching. Our holiday cottage is also within easy reach of the many attractions in the area, including Port Sunlight Village, The Lady Lever Art Gallery, Ness Botanical Gardens, Tate Gllery, The Beatles Story, The Blue Planet Aquarium, the famous Mersey Ferry and much more.

Rooms Description

All the bedrooms have their own en-suite facilities, there are two double bedrooms on the first floor and one twin bedroom on the ground floor with a full bathroom with whirlpool bath and a seperate shower. All rooms have a TV/DVD player, a radio alarm clock, hairdryer, bedside lamps and quality white towels are provided. The well equipped oak kitchen has a range cooker and fully integrated appliances including, fridge, freezer and dishwasher and a wine cooler. There is a separate utility room with an automatic washing machine and tumble dryer and an additional ground floor cloakroom. In the dining room there is a large oak table which can seat 6 comfortably.

Herons Well holiday cottage provides luxury, 5-Star self-catering accommodation in West Kirby. This is an ideal property for the less able bodied traveller as there are level entry doorways, the ground floor is level throughout, there is a ground floor bedroom and bathroom and we are rated Level 2 Mobility by the National Accessible Scheme. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard with beds that are Sealy Posturepedic for a great nights rest. A cot and high chair are available for your use if required, please let me know when booking. We regret that we are unable to accept pets. For the comfort and safety of all guests, smoking is not permitted within the barn.

Directions

By car: If you follow the M56 to the M53 and exit at Junction 2. Go straight on at the first roundabout and turn right at the second set of lights into Saughall Massie Village. Continue on to the next roundabout and go straight on. The farm gates are immediately on your right, turn in and go to your right, Herons Well is on your left. Postcode ch48 1pt. By train: Take the city line to Liverpool Lime Street Station, change onto the Wirral Line, take the West Kirby train and disembark at Meols Station. Herons Well is a 5 minute taxi ride from here. We are 25 minutes from Liverpool Airport and 50 minutes from Manchester Airport.
