The accommodation enjoys the best of both worlds, a tranquil location with open lawned areas and an attractive lake teeming with ducks, black swans and moorhens, yet just ten minutes car drive from the centre of Douglas. Recommended for large comfy beds and special individual touches that make it a true home from home. Home baked biscuits, and a decanter of Harvey's Bristol Cream Sherry by your bedside, fluffy bathrobes and a chocolate on your pillow are just a fe things that set Mount Murray View apart. There is ample car parking and quck and easy access to Douglas, the airport and ferry terminal.

We have a choice of Super King sized/twin bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and ultra efficient central heating. The bathrooms are modern with white suites and a pressurised hot water system ensuring a great shower. Each is equipped with quality bed linen, free WiFi access, Sky television, mini decanter of cream sherry for a night cap, fresh flowers, home made biscuits and tea and coffee making facilities.

We go out of our way to make you feel at home. We have many testimonials from previous visitors that can be viewed on our website. We are happy to provide an early breakfast for early flights and ferry or if you prefer we can supply a packed breakfast. We regret we cannot accept children under the age of 12 or pets. The accommodation is totally non smoking throughout.

Directions

On leaving the Airport turn right onto the A5 to Douglas . Follow this road for approximately 6 miles (the tradition is to say hello to the fairies as you cross Fairy Bridge). Turn left at the sign for Mount Murray Hotel & Country Club From the ferry terminal, take the Peel Road, going past the Bus Station and out of town. You will pass a McDonalds restaurant and then reach Quarter Bridge roundabout (there is a Pub on the left of the first roundabout), keep to the left and turn left onto the A5 (Castletown Road). Follow this road for approximately 4 miles out of Douglas . You will go up a steep hill called Richmond Hill (there is a ‘Home of Rest for Old Horses' on the right); continue for approximately half a mile when you will see a sign for Mount Murray Hotel & Country Club. Turn right, and then take the first right to enter the grounds. Proceed towards the lake Bare right around the lake and then take the first right into Fairways Drive. Mount Murray View is the third detached house on the left hand side with ample car parking in front of the garage
