The superbly equipped Castle Mona Hotel on the Douglas promenade is a leisure and conference hotel of distinction. Situated in the middle of the one and half mile length of promenade, this historic hotel was the second building to be built in this area in 1801, and was originally surrounded by 200 acres. The Castle Mona became a hotel in 1835, and is now a Grade 1 listed building. We're the perfect large hotel venue for both business and leisure guests, with both wireless computer facilities and a small business room, as well as a choice of leisure facilities all available on-site.
A choice of entertainment and eateries are available at Castle Mona, including The Dickens bar and Ballroom restaurant. On the complex we also offer a beauty salon, bowling alley, nightclub, a modern public bar - the Office, which serves food all day, daily from 12 noon. The office also has outside seating which is perfect for sunny days. We can cater for conferences and functions as well as weddings and meetings in our Regency Room as well as the Wedgewood and Ballroom for numbers ranging between 8 and 160, depending on the room layout. We also offer free parking facilities. Enjoy our magnificent Grand Ballroom, an ideal setting for wedding receptions, or try our Wedgewood room which caters for smaller meetings and functions. There are two lifts that service all levels of the hotel. Our in-house Breeze nightclub is open seven nights a week and a beauty salon is also available on-site for those who wish to unwind.
