About this Apartment

Boasting striking views over the bay and the marine gardens, The Cunard Apartments offer luxurious 4 star accommodations, perfectly situated in the heart of Douglas on the beautiful Loch Promenade, close to both the beach and countryside.

Featuring high quality contemporary interior, state of the art entertainment facilities and modern self catering kitchens, the apartments provide the perfect base for both business and leisure visits. Cunard Apartments also benefit close proximity to all transport including the Sea Terminal and airport which are within 15 minutes of the apartments.

There is a fully stocked public bar in the apartment building offering a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits and open to both residents and non residents.


Our 4 star deluxe apartments offer attractive and contemporary accommodation, well equipped for self catering and perfectly located for your holiday in the capital of the Isle of Wight.

Kitchens are fully fitted and equipped and come complete with a washing machine, dryer, microwave, double oven and hobs, dishwasher and fridge/ freezer plus all the crockery, glasses and utensils you might need.

The open plan lounge diners have comfortable sofas and offer state of the art audio-visual facilities including 32”flat screen TV with Sky, Freeview and Satellite alongside a DVD/VCR player, a PlayStation 2 with games, free Wi-Fi access and a music centre. Each has a dining area set within or adjoined to the lounge.  

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Our apartments boast generously sized bedrooms which are well adapted to accommodate groups, couples or families. Each apartment has a master bedroom with double bed and a second bedroom with double bed and single bunk over – ideal for those staying with children. There is a double sofa bed in each apartment lounge for flexible sleeping arrangements.

Bathrooms have modern Italian fittings throughout and feature luxurious double baths with shower over or separate shower units, heated towel rails, thermostatically controlled hot water and complimentary toiletries to make your stay that little bit more delightful.  

Other Facilities

Guests are welcome to enjoy the Nexus Bar in the newly renovated basement of the Cunard Apartments. The bar is fully stocked with a wide selection of international beers, wines and spirits.

Open from 6pm until 2am each evening, the bar is a perfect area to relax and guests are welcome to bring friends to enjoy a drink into the apartment building. Families with children are welcome in the bar until 9pm. The bar is available to be hired out for business or private functions – Please contact direct for further information.

Things to Note

Towels and bed linen are supplied for guests but please bring your own beach towels. Each apartment has a fully independent heating and hot water system. There is no designated parking at the apartments. A digital safe is available for you to use in all apartments. Any guests who have paid Sky channels at home can bring their viewing card to use in our Sky boxes.

Sorry – we are unable to accommodate pets and all apartments are non smoking.

Please note: There is no lift in the apartment building and all apartments are based on the first and third floor.  


Short breaks may be available in the low season. Check in is from 2pm and apartments must be vacated by 10 30am on the day or departure. Luggage can be left in reception on your departure day after check out.
