Clag Mooar B&B is a modern country house in the Foxdale Countryside. The guest lounge has a beautiful Manx stone fireplace, Sky TV and a Playstation is available. We offer a hearty traditional breakfast and cater to special diets; our options include vegetarian, weight watchers, low fat English breakfast, continental breakfast, Manx kippers and if buttermilk is available, Manx Bonnag. We have a pretty Manx cat resident, Manxie, and we can give you public right of way maps and help you plan walks. We have tourist information available including excellent local eateries, and we can arrange taxis for you.

Castletown, once the Capital of the Isle of Man and the seat of Tynwald, the Island's parliament, still has many interesting and historic attractions. There is a picturesque harbour dominated by the imposing Castle Rushen and with history around every corner there is certainly plenty to keep the visitor busy. Fishing has a long history in Peel as it once was the island's main fishing port. It is here that Herring is cured to make the famous Manx kippers.

Rooms Description

The Peel Room is decorated in blue and gold, decorated with fishing pictures. The beds can be twin or double. The bathroom is decorated in fresh nautical style, with a corner whirlpool bath, separate power shower and a heated towel rail. Towels are provided and the toiletries are Molton Brown. The Castletown Room is decorated in red, gold and blue, with crowns and coats of arms. Pictures of Castletown decorate the room. The bed can be double or twin and there is a small fridge in the room. The bathroom has slate flooring, a whirlpool bath and a separate power shower. The toiletries are Molton Brown and towels are provided.
