The Ballacallin is a charming old Manx farmhouse developed over the years into a homely lodge style country inn with modern facilities and some simple but attractively decorated bedroom accommodation, including de-luxe four-poster rooms and family suites. The hotel commands an idyllic position on the scenic west coast of the island, just a few miles south of the old cathedral, castle and fishing port of Peel. Guests benefit from superb views overlooking the long tail of rocks known as Niarbyl and the adjacent Great Bay, perhaps the islands most attractive setting. Massive cliffs stretchaway southward in a series of bays and giant headlines. This part of the Isle of Man is perfect for walking, cycling, fishing and bird watching. Guests can also enjoy shark watching trips and outdoor activities including golf and horse riding. Nearby attractions include the coastal footpath running right outside the door as well as excellent museums, castles and heritage centres.

All our attractive rooms are newly refurbished with ample facilities including en-suite bathroom with bath and power shower, DDI telephone, television, dataline, hot drink-making facilities, and hairdryer. Accessed from the central staircase, the first and second floors have a pine and pastel décor. Attractively furnished, the style is clean and atmospheric, with references to the sea. Each room is named after a local fishing boat, enjoys a unique outlook over the surrounding sea, coast or countryside.
