Ballacottier Cottage offers self catering accommodation for groups of up to six in Andreas Village, close to the fishing port town of Ramsey. The village has a shop, post office, butcher's, hairdressers, church and a pub that serves excellent food. Ramsey is just five miles away and here visitors will find a wider range of shops, restaurants and pubs. Public transportation is available from the village to all points on the island. The Isle of Man is a walkers paradise, with its varied coastline, beautiful glens and moors. If history is your interest, you will have plenty to keep you occupied in the castles and museums that study the Viking and Celtic history of the island. The waters around the island offer a rich assortment of marine wildlife including Atlantic grey Seals, Dolphins, Orca and Minke Whales, and our famous basking Sharks. For the sports addicts there is golf, great diving, mountain biking, fishing, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting to name a few. Come experience the Isle of Man.

In addition to bed and breakfast or self catering breaks, we also offer a full service themed holiday experience, which includes pick up from the airport or ferry terminal. Our organised activities throughout your stay with knowledgeable local guides will give you a true insight into the Isle of Man and the Manx people. Themed holiday packages on offer throughout the summer include walking and bird watching, wildlife and nature breaks (with boat trips into the sound), leisure painting, silk painting, photography and culture and heritage breaks. We can cater for groups of up to six adults for each break, so places are limited!

Rooms Description

The cottage has one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, one family suite with one double room and one room with two singles, and an adjacent bathroom. Living room, dining room, conservatory, and kitchen complete the cottage. There is a washing machine and dryer available. Plenty of parking is available. The cottage is surrounded by wonderful gardens, which you are free to enjoy. We have an additional barn available that sleeps 2/3 if you need more space for larger groups.
