Large detached bungalow in the beautiful Rossendale Valley, superbly located for exploring Lancashire, the Lake District and within easy reach of Manchester. Pet friendly. Sleeps 5
Hardacres is a well furnished detached dormer bungalow situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Haslingden / Rossendale and enjoys excellent views to the rear towards Tor Hill and the West Pennines. There is a garden to front and stepped terrace to rear complete with garden furniture. Hardacres is conveniently situated away from major city conurbations but close enough to many of the attractions that Lancashire and the Pennine communities may offer. Manchester in particular is now considered to be at the centre of Northern cultural activity with the Lowry Theatres and the Bridgewater Hall.
Hardacres is perfect for those wishing to have a comfortable base to visit Lancashire and the North West. It is also ideal for overseas visitors wanting to see family and friends who need the extra space and independence which will not normally be found with other accommodation. We're also able to offer competitive rates for longer stays for business users or families who are between homes. We aim for the most part to supply everything in Hardacres for the family. There is also a good supply of games for a rainy day, and there is plenty of reference material for local trips to places of interest and beauty spots.
On the ground floor, Hardacres consists of a large comfortable lounge/diner with table and chairs for 6 people, and a three piece suite. There are three ground floor bedrooms, the largest of which has a double bed. There are a further two furnished bedrooms each with a single bed and a travel cot is available on request at no extra cost. The fourth bedroom is reached via a small steep staircase. The kitchen is of a generous size with an electric cooker/hob, fridge, microwave and all cooking utensils. Leading from the kitchen is a linear room with a small table, chair and the washer/dryer. There is a large bathroom with bath and shower overhead.
Hardacres has a washer/ spinner/ dryer installed and there is a laundrette in close proximity for visitors who wish to have a professional service. Most visitors drive to the bungalow but for those who prefer to use public transport there is an excellent bus service to most local towns including the city of Manchester. Cot and high chair are also available. We also welcome pets.
