All rooms have their own heating and colour televisionGreenhill Farm is a Farmhouse B&B and also a 120 acre mixed dairy farm on the edge of Holywell in the hamlet of Bryn Celyn. Relax and enjoy panoramic views of the Dee Estuary from our elevated position. Children are welcome to play on the lawns, and there are 120 acres for guests to roam in, with many footpaths and walkways nearby. The Farmhouse itself is a historic old stone and timber framed building, dating back to the 16th century. Greenhill Farm is the perfect walker base, and we can provide maps and local footpath information as well as packed lunches and clothes drying facilities. The farmhouse is only 15 minutes walk from the town centre and the market town of Holywell has its own market on a Thursday. Downstairs the comfortable lounge has an open fire and the original beams are exposed in the walls and ceiling. A particular and unusual feature of the room is a 16th century window which was retained after rebuilding work in the 17th century.
Breakfast is served in our 17th century dining room and include wholesome local produce. Upstairs, there are 4 guest bedrooms consisting of two en-suite family rooms, a twin room and a double room with private bathrooms across the landing. All rooms have their own heaters, washbasins and colour TV's with DVD as well as tea and coffee facilities.
