Parr Hall Farm - Eccleston

Extensively modernised farmhouse, 4 spacious bedrooms, historic character retaining features

Parr Hall is located in the peaceful village of Eccleston just off the B5250 at The Green/Towngate Junction. The Hall has real historic character, and was built in 1721 by a gentleman farmer called Edward Parr. The property retains many of its original features, and has been extensively modernised and refurbished. Ample parking is available to guests in the cobbled farmyard which is bordered by a red brick barn and a former cow byre. Once surrounded by apple, pear and damson orchards, the house now has well established gardens in which guests can relax.

Guests have their own entrance via old granary steps. The area is served by a wide variety of good pubs, restaurants and cafes. Within a short walking distance are The Original Farmers Arms, Verdes Italian restaurant and a cafe. The village also has two other public houses and a wine bar. Eccleston has many amenities including a bank with cash point, a small supermarket, two post offices and a reliable taxi service. The area provides access to a wide range of activities including golf, fishing, horse riding, cycling and walking opportunities, about which we will be pleased to give advice. Eccleston also provides a good base for trips to areas such as the Lake District, North Wales and the coastal areas of Blackpool, Southport and Lytham St Annes.
