Olde Duncombe House is situated on the main A6 in the village of Bilsborrow, which was originally known as Duncombe Village. Although not much is known about the history of Olde Duncombe House, it is believed to date back to the 1500's. At one time we understand that some of Bonnie Prince Charlie's men slept in the barn which is attached to the main house and has now been converted into bedrooms and lounge.
We have nine beautiful bedrooms, all of which are en suite. They have colour televisions, refreshment facilities, fridges, telephones and hairdryers. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor. There is ample car parking on site, newspapers and early morning calls are also available. We are open all year round and welcome children

Olde Duncombe House is conveniently situated on the A6 and is surrounded by many tourist attractions which are easily accessible. Blackpool 14 miles away, Preston 7 miles, Lancaster 15 miles away, Beacon Fell Country Park 4 miles(very popular with walkers). Market town of Garstang 4 miles (market day Thursday which is held in the main street). Preston has a large modern shopping centre, it is also an ancient and interesting town. Lancaster has many historical attractions, including Lancaster castle which dates back to the 11th century.
