About this Bed and Breakfast

Olde Duncombe House is situated on the main A6 in the village of Bilsborrow, which was originally called Duncombe. While not much is known about the history of the building, it’s believed to date back the 16th century. The barn that’s attached to main house supposedly once slept the men of Charles Edward Stuart, or Bonnie Prince Charlie as he was also known. It’s now been converted into bedrooms and a lounge. Comfortable and affordable, our accommodation is great couples, families and solo travellers.

Nine en-suite bedrooms are available at our bed and breakfast and each is rife with character and charm. There’s a choice of double, twin and family rooms to choose from. They all come well equipped with a Freeview TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, fresh towels, linen and early morning calls on request. Guests can also enjoy free Wi-Fi and ample on-site parking. When you’re not in your room or out exploring the area, relax with your favourite newspaper in the guest lounge.

More about staying here

Breakfast is included and served in our cosy dining room. Start the day right with a full English breakfast or something lighter; cereal, muesli, porridge and toast are also available. We’re happy to cater to special diets, just let us know.
