Lovely Self Catering Cottages Situated Near Arnside Surrounded By Fields & Woodlands, Great Views.

Brackenthwaite Farm is a special place, nestled within the heart of the stunning, yet relatively unknown, Arnside/Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). We are situated outside the village of Yealand Redmayne towards Arnside, surrounded by fields and woodland. On clear days there are beautiful views of the Lakeland hills, Arnside Knott and Farleton Knott. Our four holiday cottages form part of an attractive 17th Century complex of limestone buildings set around a large private courtyard.

Our Four Cottages are situated on a 70 acre farm with woodland. We have a small outdoor play area, pond for observing ornamental waterfowl and nature trails, where buzzards, deer and many wild flowers can be seen. An outdoor seating and barbeque area is also available for guests. Self-catering accommodation is available all year round. Short breaks may be taken between November and Easter. All bed linen and electricity is included in all four of our holiday cottages, but we do not provide towels. Cots and high chairs are available on request. There is also supplementary electric heating in all four cottages, if required.
