Pets are permitted in some cottages, but please note that pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds, and that they must not be left unattended in the property. All cottages are fully equipped and included things like bedlinen and adjacent parking in the price. All bookings are Saturday to Saturday, and all prices conveniently include VAT. Lancashire Holiday Cottages also offers their properties for short breaks, and these are readily available through the Winter Season and can be booked at any time. During the remainder of the year, breaks can be accommodated, but only if booked within ten days of the start date.

This barn sleeps 8 and is a very comfortable 300 year old farmhouse on the edge of open moors yet only half a mile from the centre of historic market town Bacup. The barn is full of character and very well equipped with 4 bedrooms, 1 double with en-suite shower room, 1 twin with en-suite bathroom, 1 with adult size bunk beds, and a further double bedroom with connecting door to house bathroom with toilet and basin. There is also a spacious lounge and dining kitchen area. Guests benefit from a multi fuel stove in lounge, and a Rayburn in the kitchen which provides central heating.

This charming cottage sleeps up to 3 people, and is refurbished to a high standard. It was originally the home of the village clogger and retains a great deal of its old character and charm with exposed beams throughout. It has been very comfortably furnished to provide excellent holiday accommodation. Inglewhite is ideally siutated for touring throughout Lancashire with easy access to the Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland and the Fylde Coast. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 single, a spacious lounge, kitchen, bathroom and toilet and basin.
Alternatively, choose terraced holiday cottage number 349, Wiswell near Clitheroe. This cottage sleeps 6/8, and is set above the small village of Wiswell, on the side of Pendle Hill, in a delightful area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this charming cottage has been fully modernised whilst retaining much of its original character and charm. Very comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated the accommodation is spacious and has a fantastic view over the surrounding countryside and extending as far the Lakeland Fells, and also benefits from a patio and country garden. Wiswell is just 1 mile from Whalley which is well known for its Abbey, Gardens and boutique shops and 3 miles from the attractive market town of Clitheroe. It therefore makes an ideal base from which to explore the Ribble Valley, Trough of Bowland and Yorkshire Dales. For families and walkers there are some very pretty walks from the doorstep and throughout the surrounding area. Amenities include on the ground floor - sitting room, sun lounge with double sofa bed, spacious fitted dining kitchen, 1 twin bedroom.
