Knockaloe is a working Manx farm nestled below Peel Heel. The farmhouse has recently been rebuilt to replicate the original building, which dated back to the 16th century. We are eco friendly, and endeavour to provide breakfasts which are homemade, seasonal and locally grown or reared. Natural products and materials are used throughout the house whenever possible. Accordingly the farmhouse is constructed with high levels of insulation and heated by a ground source heat pump, so avoiding the need for any fossil fuels. We rear our own free range chickens, manage 900 sheep and 200 milking cows.

The farm is 2 miles from the picturesque City of Peel, which has a variety of excellent restaurants, walks, pubs and beaches. Guests may have as much or little involvement on the farm as they want. We can arrange farm tours, you may help with feeding chickens, collecting eggs, grooming the Shetland ponies and watching deliveries at lambing time! We can arrange sea kayaking, rock climbing, coasteering, pony trekking and guided walks. The farm has the Isle of Man Coastal footpath running through it for 2 miles and there are countless other lovely tracks and wildlife to enjoy on foot and bike.
