Property Information

You will receive a warm welcome from the Anderson family with a basket of local produce on your arrival. There are beautiful views all round the cottage. The farm house and Stables are constructed with high levels of insulation and the farm house is heated by a ground source heat pump, so avoiding the need for some fossil fuels. We rear our own free range chickens, manage 900 sheep and 200 milking cows.

The farm has the Isle of Man Coastal footpath running through it for 2 miles and there are countless other lovely tracks and wildlife to enjoy on foot and bike. It is a 20 minute walk to Peel. We can arrange sea kayaking, rock climbing, coasteering, pony trekking and guided walks. There are also many beautiful Manx National Heritage sites to visit and beaches to explore. Peel with the Castle, golf, swimming pool, Museum and tennis is 5 minutes by car, St John’s with it’s Craft Centre only 10 minutes away.

Additional Information

The cottage has three double or twin ensuite bedrooms, two upstairs and one downstairs. There is excellent level access to our downstairs bedroom, with a walk in shower.The sitting room has a log burning stove and lovely high ceiling. Also TV/DVD and music centre. The kitchen is fully fitted out with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer. There is an open plan dining area with pine table and chairs. The block paved garden has outdoor seating and BBQ areas, a private lawned terrace and stunning views over to Peel Hill.

Specialities

Outside there is a private garden with idyllic views towards Peel Hill. Private parking is available in the farm courtyard. We love animals, but regret that we cannot have visiting dogs as we are surrounded by sheep. Free WIFI, books and games.
