Phil and Heather, the proprietors, have given the bar area a 'music' theme with various musical instruments on display. Often guests entertain each other with their impromptu 'jamming sessions' and Phil often entertains with some Rock 'n' roll or Dire Straits classics! We welcome and encourage families to visit our hotel and offer various children's deals including under 5's go free, children 5 to 12 go half price, and baby monitors are available. Cots and high chairs are also available if required.

Rooms Description

The Newlands Hotel has a wide choice of rooms available including Double, Triple and Family rooms. Most rooms have full en suite facilities and all our guest rooms are comfortable, clean and centrally heated with wash basin, towels, soap, adequate storage (for clothing etc.), colour Television and tea and coffee making facilities. Families will love our large family room which is very spacious, and sleeps up to four people comfortably. All our family rooms are en-suite. Alternatively choose our typical 'standard' double room. These are good size rooms, sleeping two persons very comfortably. En-suite double rooms come complete with a four poster bed. These are large and roomy, and sleep two persons very comfortably. Brand new for the 2005 season the Newlands hotel have added a third en suite family room and a 'no smoking' double en-suite room (complete with four poster bed!).

Specialities

Guests will love our lively and friendly bar area (the 'music room'). A wide range of wines, spirits and beers are available as well as tea and coffee. Snacks and bar meals (including childrens portions), crisps, and sweets are always available. Children are allowed at all times and there's always music, amusements, toys and games around to keep them entertained. There's no other Guest House in Blackpool with a bar quite like it!
