Family run B&B with 2 en-suite rooms,no smoking,close to beach & local golf courses

Stable View is our family home - run as a b&b in Freshfield, Formby. The B&B is only a 10 minute walk from the National Trust RED Squirrel reserve and Formby's glorious beach. If you plan to visit the reserve, one half day is more than enough time, unless its a glorious day where you can take a picnic to the beach and Formby has just opened its own pool with gym and cafe, so bring you swimming trunks just in case. We are within walking distance to shops, restaurants, pubs and Freshfield railway station with trains to Southport and Liverpool every 15 mins. We're perfect for golf fans as well, with several championship golf courses including Royal Birkdale, Hillside, Formby Ladies and Formby Hall very nearby and Hoylake approx 45 mins away.

For the comfort of all our guests, we have a no smoking policy throughout our home. Unfortunately we do not have lounge facilities for guests, but two charming en-suite bedrooms are available. Upstairs has a kingsize bed, TV, tea/coffee, kettle and full bathroom en-suite, as well as exquisite open views across stables and farmland. Our second room (downstairs) has a double bed, with a sofa bed. This room has an en-suite shower room, fridge, tea/coffee, kettle, Freeview TV/DVD/video, as well as a double outlook across open farmland. Guests will love our hearty Full English breakfasts, inclusive in the price, and served between 0800 hrs - 0900 hrs. If you have any dietary requirements please do advise us in advance, and we are happy to cater for them. Unfortunately we do not have facilities for credit/debit cards but we do accept cheques and cash. We do have 3 young children of our own and ask that guests' please respect this, and the fact that we are situated in a quiet residential location, especially if coming in late at night. We also ask that guests park on the drive, as a courtesy to our neighbours. Please note that on bank holidays we are currently having to take a minimum of 2 nights stay.
