Originally built as the impressive retirement home of Captain Wright in 1897, Captains View in Wallasey enjoys some of the best views of Liverpool's waterfront and the River Mersey. It's a four star property offering quality and luxury. It sleeps up to five people and is within easy reach of Liverpool, Chester and North Wales.
Close to clean, award-winning beaches, Captains View is reached through your own private door and flight of stairs. It is fully central heated and offers a spacious lounge with stunning river views complete with a 42-inch TV, DVD player/recorder along with a selection of DVDs for all ages, a leather suite and a modern electric fire. From here, you'll have access through patio doors to a small balcony overlooking the River Mersey. There is a fully equipped kitchen including a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, cooker and microwave along with laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) in the garage. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, again with river views and a 26 inch LCD TV. There is a second bedroom with twin beds and a 19 inch LCD TV and DVD player. Both bedrooms have large wardrobes with ample storage space. An additional fifth guest can sleep on a comfortable Z - bed in the separate dining room if required. The property has a large bathroom with separate shower and corner bath. All these rooms lead off a large spacious central hall. There is a raised garden for the sole use of guests with a decking area complete with table, chairs and sun loungers. This also overlooks the river.
Broadband wi-fi is available free of charge as is off-road parking. The promenade outside is traffic free and allows access to fifteen miles of coastline. I have some cycles you can use (no charge). The recently modernised resort of New Brighton is 2 miles away and offers many attractions - cafes, cinema, theatre, restaurants and pubs. Other destinations are easily reached by public transport or car, with the M53 motorway being just a short drive from the apartment. The charge includes all heating and electricity, towels and bed linen and a welcome pack including tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter and cereals
