Captain's View,awarded a 4 STAR rating by Quality in Tourism, is a delightful two bedroom luxury apartment with balcony overlooking the River Mersey and Liverpool Waterfront. Spacious, newly decorated and recently renovated, the apartment sleeps 4 to 5 guests comfortably, and is within easy reach of all local ammenities including Liverpool museums and shops, New Brighton and Chester. The house was built by Captain Wright in 1897 as his retirement home. The apartment is fully alarmed, with central heating throughout. It is situated on the first floor, which is reached through your own private front door and flight of stairs which lead into large entrance hall. There is a spacious lounge with widescreen TV and dvd player, leather suite, modern fire. All towels are provided as is a full breakfast pack which includes eggs, bacon, bread, butter, cereals, milk etc. There is also free wireless broadband for suitable laptop owners

The apartment is ideally situated, directly on the promenade where the only traffic allowed is pedestrians and cyclists. Local pubs close by for meals. From here you can enjoy up to 15 miles of the beautiful Wirral coastline either on foot or by cycle. (A few bikes are available,free, for guests to borrow ). Sea fishing from promenade. The Mersey Ferry is just a 10 minute walk along the promenade (or short cycle ride - as bikes are allowed on the Ferry) or a 3 minute drive with free parking. The newly opened Spaceport is located here, as is a small aquarium. The Mersey Tunnel is only 5 minutes away. This takes you directly into the centre of Liverpool. Alternatively, New Brighton (a popular Victorian seaside town) is a 15 minute walk away, with beaches, amusements, pubs, resturants.
