Ballavair is a traditional Manx farmhouse build in the early 1800's which has recently been sensitively renovated to provide you with delightful 4 Star accommodation. Ballavair was awarded a Silver Commendation in 2007. Surrounded by 200 acres of tranquil farm land, you are still only 2 miles from the small harbour town of Ramsey. There are many wonderful mountain, glen and coastal walks for you to explore and we do have bicycles available for you to hire if you are feeling adventurous. Ballavair is only 5 minutes form The Ayres Nature Reserve and the Wildlife Park and 25 minutes fom the historic town of Peel and Laxey, famous for its wonderful water wheel. At the front of the house you will find our large garden area where guests are most welcome to relax. To the side you will find a picnic area with stunning views across the surrounding hills.

You can enjoy a cooked or light breakfast each morning in our breakfast room. Your full Manx breakfast is cooked to order using only the best, locally produced. YOUR ROOM Our rooms are designed with your comfort in mind and have been recently refurbished to the highest standard, elegantly decorated in a traditional style. For your comfort all our rooms have a colour television, hair dryer, radio alarm clock and a beverage tray with selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Our ensuites and private bathrooms are newly fitted and you will find a selection of complementary soaps, bath & shower gels and an abundance of fresh towels.
