Disabled Hotels - What to Expect

Hotels bed and breakfast and self catering accommodation such as holiday cottages which is suitable or adapted for the disabled. Disabled people include wheelchair users, those who chose to travel with the assistance of a carer, deaf or hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired, people with mobility issues or require specialist care equipment. Accommodation needs to be accessible to visitors with a physical impairment or limited mobility. The accommodation has emergency procedures for blind or deaf visitors.

Level access to dining room / and special diets catered for. There is room service available from within the hotel or accommodation. You may expect the provision of guest telephones / intercoms.

Assistance / guide dogs accepted. Hotel parking has been allocated closer to the entrance for ease and convenience (disabled vehicle parking on request). The accommodation has a reception with level access to and ramps in place of steps.

The restaurant and lounge have easy access. There is level access to bar or other social areas. Steeper inclines or declines have a ramp and / or two steps. Lift large enough for wheelchair user.
