Blackpool Tower, Circus & Tower Ballroom

The Blackpool Tower and Circus experience is an extravaganza of family fun shows and attractions. Several family treats are here, including the Aquarium which has evolved from its early roots here which predate the tower! Jungle Jim's Indoor Adventure Land is a favourite for the younger tots on holiday in Blackpool. Swings, slides and climbing sets all sit within a fun 'Lost City' world. Birthday parties are organised around three brilliant Party Galleons.

Circus and Magic Shows are daily and entrance to the Tower includes one of these shows. Mooky the Clown is on hand at the Circus, a well known Blackpool character, and the circus acts are some of the best to be found in the world - checkout the Flying Spiders from China and Emil and Emil's dangerous knife throwing act all the way from the Czech Republic. Around 30 international acclaimed circus artists make up the troop here at Blackpool Tower Circus.

Restaurant 1894 and for lighter snacks the Tower Coffee Company are on-site and of course the spectacular Tower Ballroom with daily playings of the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ and numerous events including Salsa Nights and Soul Weekenders running throughout the year. Crowning glory is the Tower Top ride, a Blackpool tradition up the lift 380 feet for panoramic views of Blackpool and beyond to North Wales, The Lake District and on a clear day the Isle of Man. A fascinating heritage board at the top displays photos of the Tower's heritage - you're treading in trillions of holidaymakers' shoes up here! Sealife Centre & Louis Tussaud's Waxworks

Blackpool's Sealife Centre just beyond the Tower along the Promenade is famed for its huge collection of tropical sharks amongst other wonders. The centre is a superb family attraction promoting too awareness of the oceans. Fifty displays contain a fine selection of marine and freshwater creatures including rays, seahorses, jellyfish and piranhas. The Touchpool display is hands-on and focuses on the marine life around the British Coastline. New attraction 'Pirates's has a sunken galleon and stunning Caribbean Reef home to tropical sharks and shoaling fish. The story of Blackbeard's sunken ship told by the old ship mate brings added entertainment for children to this display. Other areas include the Victorian Pier, Ocean Window, Kingdom of the Seahorse and Amazone. A Gift shop, Soft Play Area and Kites Cafe are all on-site.

Another Blackpool Prom unmissible day out is at Louis Tussaud's Waxworks. Hundreds of waxworks models await in themed rooms such as Hollywood, Celeb City, Corrie, Rock Factory and Horrors. Posh & Becks, Elton John, Angelina and Brad, Elvis, Madonna and the Royal Family are all here. Great fun and you can get up close to the waxworks for a photo call with your favourite star. Houndshill Shopping Centre, Blackpool Town Centre

Around Blackpool Tower and Winter Gardens, Blackpool Town Centre is fast becoming a hotspot for shopping.
