Camelot Theme Park was voted Lancashire's family attraction of the year in 2002 and continues to prosper in it's location near Chorley. It gets a great balance this amusement park - with nerve shattering adult rides blended with lots for the tots. You've gotta laff at the Camelot theme - the park is split into 'five magical lands' including Squire Bumpkin's Friendly Farm and 'Knights Valley'. Run the 'Gauntlet looping rollercoaster' or take the 'Pendragon's Plunge'. For the tots there's the huge soft playground - always a popular favourite for throwing yourself about in! There's a little animal kingdom on site as well.

King Arthur could choose you to star in our famous Jousting Tournament!', says the brochure. Sounds ominous! Seating is indoors and undercover. Check out the 'Dungeons of Doom - spook spook - and there's a King Arthur's Castle with daily shows including juggling and the like.
Themed weekends and weeks are also on the menu here - including 'Wizards' Weekend', 'Scream Week' for Halloween and checkout the 'Cadbury's Chocolate Themed Room!'
Tots will love the Enchanted Glade area, especially for them with mini-rides and a miniature railroad ride. Dare you ride the spinning rollercoaster - 'The Whirlwind' - gruesome! Or how about some 'Wizardry' lessons in Merlin's School of Wizardry'. Camelot Theme Park is a great family day out.

Situated at Charnock Richard, Chorley. Camelot is easy to find, just a short drive from the M6 (J27 Northbound & J28 Southbound) or the M61 (J8). Follow the brown tourism signs.
