Everton FC, Goodison Park, Tickets & Fixtures
Everton Football Club is one of England's oldest, with a rich football history dating from its origins as 'parks and gardens' team of St Domingo School in 1878. The name change to Everton followed a year later. Back then Stanley Park a half a mile away from Everton's current historic stadium Goodison Park was the venue for matches (with the team carrying their own goal posts).

Everton FC Stadium Tours
Stadium tours of historic Goodison Park, including behind the scenes dressing rooms and walk down the tunnel to the 40,000 seater stadium are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and on Sundays. No tours operate on Match Days.
The tour lasts around one and a quarter hours, and visitors with special needs are most welcome with notification required on booking to assist in catering for all needs.

Directions to Everton's Goodison Park
Everton FC's famous Goodison Park stadium is just 3 miles north of Liverpool City Centre. Lime St Station in the city centre is the nearest mainline railway station, whilst Kirkdale is the nearest Merseyrail station situated 1 mile from the stadium. Taxis are reasonably priced from Liverpool city centre.
Buses 1, 2, 20, 19, 311, 345 and 350 run from Queens Square Bus Station. On Home Match Days the nifty Soccerbus runs a regular 15 minute service between Sandhills Station and Goodison Park (note March 08 renovations at Sandhills during which the service will operate from Bank Hall). Parking is available in the Stanley Park area half a mile from Goodison Park - Public transport is certainly recommended on Home Match days - made easy via the Soccerbus.
